- What is CampKey?
- CampKey is the complete solution for campsite management — software and hardware from a single source. The platform covers the entire guest journey: from online booking and payment to QR code access and automated utility billing.
- How does the online booking work?
- Guests visit the campsite's CampKey booking page and select their dates, pitch, and number of guests. Prices including tourist tax are calculated dynamically. Payment is processed securely via Stripe (credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay). After payment, guests receive an instant booking confirmation with a QR access code by email.
- How does the QR code access work?
- After booking, each guest receives a unique QR code and 6-digit access code. These are used to open the campsite barrier — no physical keys and no reception check-in are needed. The system works with automatic barrier hardware provided and installed by CampKey.
- Do I need special hardware?
- CampKey is unique because it provides both software and hardware. The booking platform, dashboard, and billing software work on any device with a web browser. For physical infrastructure (energy stations, barriers, sanitary cubes), CampKey supplies and installs the hardware as part of the complete package.
- What does CampKey cost?
- CampKey offers a free, no-obligation introductory consultation. Pricing depends on the size and needs of each campsite.
